#1 Happy FIFTY Shades of a Grey Hump Day

In honor of the hot and very steamy novel by E.L. James Fifty Shades of Grey, I decided to make it my mission to review each character from the book and post who I think would best play the characters each week until I've run out of characters. (Or the cast list finally comes out)This week instead of discussing a character, I wanted to do a brief summary and review of the books! Just to get my readers started. First, I must tell you all if you haven't read these books...start now.
Basically this book takes place in Washington and the main character is Anastasia Steele who is a soon to be a college graduate. Anastasia finds herself filling in for her roommate to interview the most eligible bachelor and very successful wealthy businessman Christian Grey. A spark ignites during the interview and both characters are drawn to each other. The story takes off and the two find themselves in slaved in lust and desire. To make a long story short they both are scared to move forward in a troublesome unconventional relationship.
I really don't want to ruin or spoil the book for you so I'll end it at Christian Grey loves to dominate and make women submissive to him. The next two books keep up with the dark desires if Christian Grey and very innocent Anastasia Steele.
Next week on Happy Fifty Shades of a Grey Hump Day I will begin with the main character Anastasia Steele.

  2. I seriously tried to get through the first book. I was listening to the audio book and have not been able to get through it. I must still be in the boring parts because it just hasn't done it for me to keep any interest. I was really excited to see what the craze was about but I am hoping to just get through it one of these days to see if it picks up. I heard its good...I'm still waiting for that good part to come.

    1. LOL I had a good laugh when I was reading your comment, because that's exactly how I felt when I was reading through the first book. I just felt like it took forever for the two main characters to just get together. I LOVE to read, so it was easy for me to read through it. I found that it's best to pick a specific time each day to read a chapter or two (mine's before I go to sleep).
To be honest, I found the "adult content" to be rather boring, because it's not what I'm into...the first few times I read through it, and then just grew accustomed to skimming through those parts because their kinda long, and repetitive. The love story is good, but listening to the book out loud might raise a few eyebrows if you have children or anyone else that lives with you lol

  11. Hm... I do like how she's flawed. I'm excited to see how she plays Ana.
She looks too mature to play the part.
